Michael Paz is an accomplished music producer in the areas of professional sound, recording, artist and tour management, stage production, event production with over 35 years of experience. Responsible for numerous memorable events and award winning projects, he has also worked in collaboration with renowned musicians and music establishments all over the world. Currently Michael oversees all operations of The Paz Group. Michael is the talent buyer for Ogden Museum of Southern Art’s Ogden After Hours music series. For the past 7 years he has been Production Manager for Essence Festival super lounges. Live Nation events, just to name a few. Michael has managed tours for Absolutely Live Entertainment. Monterey Jazz Festival on Tour, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Terrence Blanchard, Zachary Richard, and many more.  

Having so much experience in the music and production industry has allowed Michael to gain many accolades along the years. In 2007 he won Best Sound Man of the year for Offbeat Magazine, Shining Star Award Recipient for Not Broken (2009). He also has a hand in The Recording Academy as a Grammy voting member since 2001. Michael is on the Board of Directors for International Hospital for Children and President of the Ruth Paz Foundation. 

Michael opened The Paz Group entertainment in August of 2015 to offer artist management and booking services for Players Ella & Louie Tribute Band, Joe Lastie’s New Orleans Sound, Zachary Richard, DJ G-Cue, The Dixie Cups,  A Celebration of joni Mitchell and most recently Water Seed, Minos the Saint, Christian Winther, and Keith Greeninger.
